Good work should reach beyond the client engagement. This is how we put part of what we build to work for people who need the opportunity most.
Education
Nursing school for 12 women in Bangladesh.
We have funded 12 women in Bangladesh to attend nursing school. A nursing qualification opens a stable, respected career, and it is one of the most direct ways to strengthen the healthcare of a whole community.
Bangladesh is also home to part of our own team, so this is a cause that sits close to the way we work: investing in capable people and giving them the room to build something of their own.
Schools
Funding schools for underprivileged communities in Pakistan.
We have funded The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a Pakistani non-profit that runs schools for children from low-income families, along with other schools serving underprivileged communities in Pakistan.
A place in a good school is often what changes the path a child can take, and it is a gift that keeps paying back. Pakistan is also home to part of our own team, so this one is close to us too.
Scholarships
A university scholarship programme in Pakistan.
We have started a university scholarship programme in Pakistan, to help more students take up a place at university.
It follows naturally from our support for schools. Getting a child into a good classroom matters, and so does what comes after it.
