Somerset Consulting Limited was founded on a simple observation: internal controls work is too often either over-engineered by large firms with layered delivery teams, or under-resourced inside organisations that can't justify a large permanent function. We sit in between, senior and focused, and only take on work we are genuinely expert in.
We don't run a generalist consulting practice with controls as one offering among many. Internal Audit Co-sourcing, SOX Advisory, and AI-enabled controls automation are the whole of what we do. That means every engagement is led by people who have spent their careers in this discipline, including deep familiarity with regulated financial services and the particular expectations of the London and Lloyd's insurance market.
